About Bitcoin Node Statistics
On this page we show various statistics related to the Bitcoin network and the nodes in it. At the beginning you can see a pie chart with the distribution of the different Bitcoin clients. The data is also presented in a table form so that clients with a smaller share can also be seen.
We also generate a table with the most popular user agents of nodes. This shows which versions of the different software are currently most used. As well as what the trends are and which software and versions are becoming popular.
The last table we generate is with the distribution of nodes by country. This shows which locations have the most public nodes. For technical reasons, most nodes work by default through the anonymous Tor network. So their location is unknown.
The information on this page is generated using data from Bitnodes. Network snapshots are created approximately every 30 minutes.
