List of All Bitcoin Addresses That Have Ever Been Used

In addition to our list of all Bitcoin addresses with a current balance, we now offer a list of all Bitcoin addresses that have ever been used — that is, addresses that currently have a balance or have held a balance at any point in the past.

Interest in such a dataset is significant. We have already generated and supplied it multiple times upon request, so we have decided to make it publicly available.

It should be noted that this list is considerably larger than the list of addresses with current balances. It contains more than 1.5 billion unique Bitcoin addresses. Even in compressed form, the dataset is nearly 40 GB in size. Managing, sorting, and normalizing such a large volume of information presents numerous technical challenges.

Please keep in mind that the data may be several days behind the current state of the blockchain. The list contains only Bitcoin addresses, with one address per line. It does not include additional information such as current balances, transaction history, or any other metadata.

The addresses are sorted chronologically, from the oldest at the beginning of the file to the newest at the end. Duplicate addresses have been removed.

A common use case for this dataset is research involving weak private keys and the monitoring of addresses associated with them. If a Bitcoin address has received funds in the past and its private key is later discovered, there is a possibility that the address may receive funds again in the future. Monitoring large numbers of such addresses increases the likelihood of identifying future activity involving them.
